Back to Work. This is a still life of my desk for the past 7 months while I freelanced at Goodby Silverstein and Partners. Today is my last day and I’ll be back in my studio next week working on some half finished projects and starting some new ones. Mid September the Store will be updated with the items I missed putting out on time for June, July and August, as well as the September item too. Here’s a sneak peek of a few things to come.

Diagonal Balance. I really like the arrangements of things in peoples homes. It’s fun to see what people like to collect and how they display them. I really liked the painting in this picture and the composition happening with the mirrors and lamp. I also like the white on white with the pops of color happen too. I took this right before I left Norrmalm in Stockholm to move to Lidingö another big island in Stockholm.

Up hill riding. This is the second construction debris ski hill I found in Stockholm. I found two others but wasn’t ever able to visit them. I was really hoping to find this ski hill with a little snow on it but sadly it didn’t have any. Walking up to this place was kind of creepy. You walked up a really long driveway that had all these parking stalls that hadn’t been used in a long time, some of which had turned into people’s little private dumps. Once you got to the ski area it was partially being taken over by a swampy marsh with signs sinking and stuff covered in moss. It was like finding an old ghost town or something. This place was totally fun to explore. The most interesting thing to find though was that the ski hill had now turned into a motorcycle hill climb.
