New Posts. After getting hacked and a super sized work load for the first two weeks of November, I unfortunately wasn’t able to keep up with new postings. Then I left for Japan for two weeks and just got back a couple days ago. Now I’m back and ready to start posting things again. The image above was take at the Nagoya train station while I was waiting to catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo. I loved finding this scenic billboard. Sadly it was the best view of Mount Fuji I got all trip.

New store setup. Over the last year and a half it’s been fun posting one new drawing and photo a week in the ‘News’ section of the site. I thought I’d try something different over the next year and feature a new work for sale once a month. The second part to the idea is that all the things will be made in limited editions. To start it off a little early the November feature is a mini set of the ‘Forest of Woods’. The 9 piece set is made in an edition of 5. Each set looks slightly different from the next because each tree is made out of a different piece of scrap wood. The tallest tree in the back is 7″ tall and the littlest tree in front is 1″ tall.

Arcadia by Gestalten. A few months ago I was asked to contribute to the new Gestalten book titled Arcadia. The book is about architecture in natural landscapes/the forest and other design objects. I was asked to submit my ‘Forest of Woods’ for the book. It was really cool to get my copy in the mail this week.

I got hacked! A few weeks ago the site got hacked and it’s taken me a bit to get things back in order. Glad I backed up my database for the news section. Everything is back in place for the most part minus some drawing and photo posts. I’ll have those back up soon.
