Walking at Night. I really need to start to travel with my tripod so I can take more night photos. I was lucky to have the use of a nice little stone wall to rest my camera on for this photo in the back streets of Shibuya.
The Green Machine. I don’t know of anything better when traveling than to be walking aimlessly around with my camera exploring a city and learning its back streets and not the main thoroughfares. It’s times like that when you walk up on fantastic green tractors next to green fences and walls. The color of the type on the wall even matchs.
Parked in Neutral. When I saw this spot I couldn’t believe it. I loved that all the vehicles where white set in such a neutrally colored surrounding with the bright green plants.
Bedding pick up. This is another shot I took in Nakaochiai on my walk to the subway one morning after people had left out their old bedding to be picked up. This house had a vcr out too, so maybe it is a junk pick up day. I’ll never know.
Rise and shine. I took this photo from the window of an art gallery that doubled as a bar and live dj radio station in Aoyama. It was 5 something in the morning and the sun was just rising. I was apart of a group show in this gallery and we all traveled to Tokyo together. After landing we came straight here to celebrate. After awhile my jet lag kicked in and while everyone else was having a great time I crashed out on a couch with ear plugs. Shortly after, I woke up to find this great view. I’ll never forget it. The morning was so cold and the air was super crisp. I was so excited to be in Tokyo.
