New Shirt Designs. I just finished printing my next batch of limited edition organic t-shirts. There are three new designs and two new color ways to the PPS logo shirt. This round of shirts is printed on Black, White, Gray or Yellow shirts.

Head Spin Kokeshi. This is a shot of the packaging for a new project I just finished called  ‘Head Spin Kokeshi’. Head Spin Kokeshi is a limited edition of tops that is made up of five different designs, done in a limited edition of 10 per design. All of which are hand painted by me.

Updates coming soon. I’m really excited about my new camera and hope to be able to update things more regularly now. I just got a Canon 5d MarkII. I’ve been debating it for months. It was a hard choice because I’ve been shooting with my Mamiya RZ and 7II for so long that it was really hard to go digital. But I think this will be a great new camera to learn to use. I’ll still bring my trusty film cameras when I travel. I still love them.

Pencil Pushers Drawings. Pencil Pirate Walking, Drawn By Hand, and Drawn Together #2. Graphite on paper. I used one of my favorite 7.0 Pentel Pencils to draw these using a ruler and circle stencil.

Desktop Still Life. This is a little setup I’ve had on my desk the past month while I’ve been away from my studio freelancing on a project that required me to be on site. On the left is the Pencil Pirate’s head made from scrap wood, there’s also a new Kokeshi as well as a painted wood cutout of ‘A Flat Perspective’. Then there’s some other goodness from the Japanese market that is close by.
