Prints and Projects
June 2, 2010

New things soon. The past few weeks have been really busy with work and less on pen pencil stencil. I think things should settle soon so I can get back on track with the May and June store items. I’m hoping to post them together at the same time. Fingers crossed for mid June. Then I just received my set of prints to sign and return. The prints are for a project I got asked to be apart of that should be announced soon.

New Forest of Woods
April 12, 2010

Japanese Tree Garden. The second series of The Forest of Woods is out now. To celebrate Spring, my second favorite season in Japan, the new Forest of Woods will be available until May 15th only. After that the edition will be done. I currently have 5 sets on hand and after they are gone they will be made in the order of purchase. The set is made from turned scrap wood and the largest tree is 5.75 inches wide by 8 inches tall.

Concrete Jungle

March’s Late Update. This is the first of two projects that were to be released in March. The second one will come later in the Spring or early Summer. This new pattern is titled ‘Concrete Jungle’ and is my first experiment with printing yardage. The fabric is printed by hand with water based inks on 100% Organic Cotton. You can find the pillow in the Store now.

March’s Store Status
April 2, 2010

Delays, delays, delays. Everything was set in motion in January for the March update but after being faced with one delay after the other from the printer I didn’t get my fabric for the March store update until the 31st. I’m happy that I at least got the printing finished in March. Here’s a sample cut from the roll. I’ll show more of the print later. Think bricks and floral mixed together.

W Hollywood Residency. The W Hotel in Hollywood just opened in February and today they opened their residencies. A few months ago the interior designer for the eco residency contacted me about using one of my wallpapers in the space. They picked the black on gray Handprint pattern and put it on a big wall right in the entryway. Here’s an image of it from the unit’s site.
