I Kvällen. Winter nights in Stockholm were great. It wasn’t as dark as I had expected it to be. There are so many lights put out during the winter time it really makes for an amazing warm feeling and not a dark depressing one. I wasn’t working a 9-5 job while I was there so I got to see the sun in the mornings and afternoons. I can imagine that it would be rough to go to work in the dark and leave in the dark and not get to see much sun. That wouldn’t be so much fun. But I still really loved it there in the winter. Snow in the city was magic.
Cave Dwellings. For the most part each subway station in Stockholm is different from one another. They varied in color, decoration, layout, or construction. A majority of them tended to be a normal tile covered station but my favorite were the caves. Some stations were really deep under the city and were awesome caves. All the cave stations were also all painted differently. I really dug this camo station.

Downtown Apartment. This is another image from the apartment I stayed in while living in Stockholm. It was a secondhand contract, meaning sublet from the original tenant, so it was fully furnished. If you are lucky enough to be the holder of a firsthand contract in Stockholm you are set. You will never have to leave your apartment ever. It is so hard to evict someone in Stockholm. So much so, firsthand contracts have a black market and get traded or sold or they just stay in the family for years. I was lucky enough to stay here for six months.
