Circles everywhere. This is a garden at the NHK Studio in Shibuya. I thought it was a pretty great compositional find when I saw it. I have no idea what’s going on here with all the manholes but I like how they and round bushes go together.
A New Idea
One In Other
Uniform lighting. I remember wanting to take this photo, one for the fact that it was going to be part of my vending machine series and two because I love the light. I really really appreciate the attention to detail paid in Japan. I find it amazing that all the way down to public lighting it seems to be a considered thing. You can go out at night and find that all the lights are daylight balanced. Everything matches. It’s fantastic to me. I find it to be really beautiful that all the light color is consistent. This at the Osaka Kansai Airport.
Unstoppable nature. I love how these trees are growing out of the smallest space between the buildings and the waterway. I’m not sure but I don’t think they are supposed to be there. This is a waterway that is right next to Shibuya Station.
