Here it is, the November folding calendar. Download and make it from the links below.
Spring 09 Shirts. I’ve been waiting to post about this, I just got my samples in the mail today and they look awesome! I was asked by 2k a few months ago if I’d be interested in submitting some designs to them and these are the 4 designs I showed them, and they got made. Brilliant! You will be able to get them in their Spring 09 collection but for now you can check them out here on their site.
More Japanese Buses. I really love the buses in Japan. They have really cool colors and markings on them. Not to mention the really fun logos they design for public buses, the bee or the cute little witch on a broom. Even the fabric patterns that are in some buses are cool, or the nicely colored seats or tickets. So much great stuff everywhere. Japan is the land of design to me.
Off the Grid. If you have a chance to pick up the November issue of Dwell, I have some illustrations in the, Off the Grid, story of the magazine.
Hidden little treasure. This photo was taken inside this amazing kaiju collectors shop in Machiya, a small neighborhood of Tokyo. It was a little hard to find but worth sticking it out. The shop is up on the second floor and has the smallest sign pointing it out. I walked by it a bunch of times before a local shop keeper came outside and pointed it out. This place was packed with amazing vintage vinyls.
