Folding Pyramid Calendar
July 25, 2008

New Monthly Calendar. I recently learned how to fold an origami pyramid and thought what a great desk object it would make. So here it is, a new free monthly calendar for you to fold. It is really an easy thing to make. Just print, cut out the square and follow the instructions. Easy. This is my homage to Alexander Girard whom is one of my all time favorite designers.

So many to choose from and not enough room in my belly. I love all the soda machines and ice cream vending machines around Japan. This was an impressive line up in Kamakura. The Gilco, Seventeen Ice are so good.

Amazing ski hill. I thought this was the best thing I’d ever heard of, reuse waste building material to make a mountain to ski down. So rad! I was amazed when I found this right outside of Stockholm’s city center. It’s like a five minute ferry ride from downtown. But sadly climate change hasn’t allowed for the best of snow falls lately.

Exploring a little outside of a city is one of my favorite things to do when I travel. I like to take the subway or walk to a random area I know nothing about and walk around. I really liked this little yellow house just outside of Stockholm.

“I was here!” portraits are great. I’ve been shooting a series of people taking pictures of themselves or friends and family members for awhile now. This photo is one of my favorites I’ve taken so far in the series. This is Spring in Kyoto.
